Basuki Wants Sidewalk in Kota Tua-Pasar Ukan to Be Arranged

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama said the sidewalk from Kota Tua until Pasar Ikan should be arranged. The arrangement is conducted to direct the visitor not only to Kota Tua but also to Pasar Ikan.

"The sidewalk from Jembatan Merah and Jl Cengkeh should be wide and nice until Pasar Ikan. Thus citizen can continue their tour in Pasar Ikan and does not accumulate in Kota Tua," he stated, during executive meeting at City Hall, Monday (8/1).

According to him, if the sidewalk was arranged, the people can visit to the Galangan VOC until Bahari Museum. The spotlight in the area must also be added thus they can remain walk comfortably at night.

"While waiting for arrangement, we began from the sidewalk arrangement," he told.

He added that if the spotlight in Kota Tua until Pasar Ikan has been added, the mayor and its ranks must help to maintain it. The lamp that covered by twigs can be cut thus lighting along the sidewalk maximize.
